Oil and Gas and where it has led me...

I got into the world of CNC machining, a dirty but straightforward and straight-laced industry. Soon, pushing the green button on a machine wasn’t enough. There was more opportunity, more to learn, more to create. I resolved that I would learn not only the most efficient way to run the machine, but how to program them as well. It wasn’t acceptable to do things how they’ve always been done simply because they’ve always been done that way. It became clear that if I wanted to do current things my way AND create new things altogether, I would have to teach myself. So I did. This brings us to where we are now… sort of. I’ve learned that some endeavors are temporary and serve to lead you to another, even if it’s completely different, and some grow, develop, and flourish over years. I consider everything I’ve ever created to be art, whether it’s in a literal art gallery or on an offshore drill.
